My Wisdom ... For Wisdom Wednesday ! Have you ever gone to an auction ? This is a fantastic place to pick up quality household goodies that are really inexpensive ! While living in CT my GF and I would go frequently.
1. Go to the preview
2. Know what you want
3. Set $LIMIT !!
4. Beware of the adrenaline rush!! It can somehow make you bid higher than you want!!
5. Get to know the auctioneer workers . They have the inside scoop
6. Be prepared to pay when you win
7. Box lots yield big goodies!
8. Pay attention to the pro bidders ( wealth of info)
9. Beware of bidders remorse! Once you win !! It's yours !
10. Drive a big enough vehicle especially if you are going with friends !
