Auction Wisdom !

My Wisdom ... For Wisdom Wednesday ! Have you ever gone to an auction ?  This is a fantastic place to pick up quality household goodies that are really inexpensive !  While living in CT  my GF and I would go frequently.  

1. Go to the preview

 2. Know what you want

 3. Set $LIMIT !! 

4. Beware of the adrenaline rush!! It can somehow make you bid higher than you want!!

5. Get to know the auctioneer workers . They have the inside scoop

6. Be prepared to pay when you win 

7. Box lots yield big goodies!

8. Pay attention to the pro bidders ( wealth of info)

9. Beware of bidders remorse!  Once you win !! It's yours ! 

10. Drive a big enough vehicle  especially if you are going with friends !

A quick stop!! Great finds!!

Hey quick stop at my local Goodwill yields so really great goodies!  Dana Buckman evening cardigan sweater that I'm going to wear backwards as a sexy back cleavage look $3.20. A Kenneth Cole leather blazer too big I'm going to sell $4.20. And a spare bike pump for a couple of  bucks!!

Found on my "drive by" GW NEW! #GUESS sequined stilettos!   $2.50!!  & NEW #Birkenstock sandal $2.50 !! Sometimes the best time to thrift is going to dress driving by on a whim and you go I think I should stop!! 

Today's Thrift Haul ... And I'm Suppose to be Purging !

Went on a little bender today. Tahari, Laurren, WHBM,Betsy Johnson, Santana, Ed Hardy, Pink , Donna Morgan ,  sketchers ! Phew Al for $30!!  How could you not thrift !?!
