A Foodie Who Loves to Thrifting

So I thought it would be interesting to share with you some pictures of some of my great dishes I've made in the process of becoming #wheatfree. I started this journey two months ago, actually a little over two months ago. When I read the book WHEAT BELLY  by Dr. Davis. I also attended a four week educational seminar ,get together ,discussion group at our church.

I became convinced that the bloat and skin condition and overall stuffy feeling after eating was the result of eating wheat. Which by the way is in everything! Or at least it seems like it's in everything.

We are in general a pretty healthy eating family. The no wheat thing has posed some challenges. Which has resulted in becoming a bit more creative.

Oh let me add that I do find myself thrifty shopping for items. Gluten-free and wheat- free items can be pricey. So I have made flours  and gone to #big -lots and many other places hunting for good deals.

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Banana Pancake!  A little too eggy ... Gotta find a new option '

While making coconut flour my blender broke !
Got a Ron of coconut milk from making the flour!
